He has pledged his life to their service and protection. He is often envisaged as a great Lion, resting at the end of the leash of Babalon. Becoming a Therion is the first stage of membership in the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun upon reaching the Inner Temple. Pronounced Theer-ee-on.
