A title of the Great Liberating Mother, or one of the Guardians, in their role as guide and guardian of the Liminal Gateway for Spirit. In this guardianship, they also function as the Guiding Light of the Spirit undergoing emergence and transformation in the Underworld. The Torch-bearers have gone by many names, including:: Helena, Libertas, Lucifer, Hekate, Bapho-metis and others.
